BJP candidate Abhishek Sinha Bunty withdrew from Bihar’s high-profile seat Bankipur by-election, withdrew his nomination.
Patna. BJP candidate Abhishek Sinha alias Abhishek Bunty has withdrawn his nomination from Bihar’s high-profile Bankipur Assembly by-election. Along with this, he has announced not to contest the assembly by-elections. Abhishek Bunty held a press conference on Friday evening and said that he was withdrawing from the election field due to family reasons. With this, BJP has started searching for another candidate for Bankipur seat.

Abhishek Sinha has also informed his decision by writing a letter to BJP State President Sanjay Sarawagi in this regard. BJP had made Abhishek Bunty its candidate for Bankipur seat and he had also filed nomination on Thursday. During the nomination, all the stalwarts of Bihar including CM Samrat Choudhary were present. After nomination, Abhishek Bunty also met former Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. However, now Abhishek Bunty has announced to withdraw his nomination, regarding which various kinds of discussions are being held.

Abhishek Sinha Bunty has been an active worker of BJP for the last 27 years. He started working in the party at the lowest level i.e. as booth president. After this, while continuously performing responsibilities in the organization, he reached the level of Divisional Minister, Divisional General Secretary, President of Patna Mahanagar Yuva Morcha and now Vice President of State Yuva Morcha. Considering his activism and long experience in the organization, the party leadership had decided to let him contest the assembly elections, but now Abhishek Sinha has announced to withdraw his name.

Abhishek Bunty has worked at different levels in the BJP organization. He has been the President of BJP Patna Mahanagar Yuva Morcha. Apart from this, he has also served the responsibilities of Divisional Minister and General Secretary. Presently he is the State Vice President of BJP Yuva Morcha, Bihar. He has played an active role in the organization’s programs and election campaigns.

This time BJP has bet on an old worker associated with the organization instead of a big face. The message of the party is clear that even the workers who have worked for the organization for years can be given a bigger opportunity. Political experts are considering this as a decision to boost the morale of the workers.
Abhishek Bunty, close to Nitin Naveen
According to sources, Abhishek Sinha Bunty is considered close to BJP national president Nitin Naveen. He has also been active in Bankipur assembly constituency for a long time. He is said to have a good influence among the local organizations and workers, which the party is expected to benefit from in the elections.
