During the ongoing protests at Jantar Mantar in the capital Delhi, clashes are taking place repeatedly with police and security forces. Even on Wednesday evening, videos of some police personnel and Rapid Action Force personnel fighting together surfaced. Now the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) is also being asked questions on such incidents. In response to a similar question on Thursday, CJP founder Abhijeet Deepke said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is now sending goons from outside to spoil this protest. Abhijeet Deepke has once again appealed to Sonam Wangchuk to end her fast.
Condemning the police lathicharge, Abhijeet Deepke said that it was very cruel and CJP will go to court to take action against those policemen. This protest is now on its 34th day and Sonam Wangchuk has been on hunger strike for 26 days. At present, he has been admitted to Medanta Hospital where his health is being monitored.

What did Abhijeet Deepke say on stone pelting and clash?
Regarding the repeated incidents of stone pelting and clashes, Abhijeet Deepke said, ‘These people are being sent from outside. BJP is deliberately sending such people to spoil the protest. We have been sitting here for a month, no incident has happened in a month. Now that this protest has become bigger, BJP is sending goons from outside to deliberately provoke people. These are the people who are pelting stones. Police are bringing trucks with stones here and BJP people are coming and pelting stones. Then they defame CJP’s people.
Regarding Sonam Wangchuk, Abhijeet Deepke said, ‘Our protest will continue until our demands are met. Still, we are appealing to Sonam sir to end her hunger strike because we do not want to lose her. On the government’s proposal for talks, Abhijeet Deepke has said, ‘The doors of Jantar Mantar are also open.’

The message being given by the government is that it wants to talk to the CJP people and the protesters. However, CJP says that now his people will not go to the house of any leader or minister. He says that either the government representatives should come to Jantar Mantar or they should meet at some neutral place.
