Allegations of theft of money offered by devotees at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple have created a sensation in the entire country. This is being discussed especially in Uttar Pradesh. The ‘Ram Mandir Trust’, which maintains the Ram Temple, denied any major irregularities in the internal audit, but the UP government formed a SIT to investigate the matter.
Parties like Samajwadi Party and Congress are accusing BJP that the saffron party is not saying anything against this theft and at the same time the Yogi government is not taking any action against the main leader of the trust, Champat Rai. SP is also raising questions on the fact that after all such a big theft has taken place, due to which the faith of Ram devotees has been tampered with, then why has an FIR not been registered in this matter yet.

In fact, Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, has been active since the time of the Ram Mandir movement. He joined the movement while being in Vishwa Hindu Parishad and after the establishment of the Trust in 2020, in a way, he was made the architect of the Ram Temple. He is responsible for everything from finance to security in the temple. In such a situation, his close ones kept looting crores of rupees from Ram temple, after looting the money, CCTV footage of months was deleted. Even after all this, Champat Rai remained silent.

Yogi Adityanath government of UP has started SIT investigation into the incident of theft in the temple. SIT is investigating the records. With this, BJP wants to send the message that if any irregularities have taken place, action will be taken against the culprits, no matter what level they are at. CM Yogi, who reached Ayodhya on Friday, said from the stage of an event that if anyone is found guilty, he will not be able to escape, action will definitely be taken against him. At the same time, he appealed to the public that if anyone has evidence related to the theft, then hand it over to the SIT.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday itself alleged that efforts are being made to defame Ayodhya and doubts are being raised on the functioning of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. He said that the special investigation team formed by the government will bring out the truth.
