BJP MP Ravi Kishan lashed out at Akhilesh Yadav, said – whoever becomes a threat to the society, there will be an encounter.
Gorakhpur: BJP MP from Gorakhpur Lok Sabha seat Ravi Kishan has once again made a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav. He said that Akhilesh Yadav should do politics on the issues of development and public interest of the state instead of raising questions on the encounter of criminals. Ravi Kishan claimed that the people who were encountered in UP. They were criminals and the Yogi Government of the state will continue to take strict action against the criminals.

MP Ravi Kishan, who reached Gorakhpur on Sunday, said that these days SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is continuously raising questions on the working style of the state government. He alleged that Akhilesh Yadav is also trying to corner the government regarding police encounters, whereas police action has been taken only against those criminals who opened fire on the police, harassed the general public or committed serious crimes against innocent people.
Ravi Kishan said that as the elections are approaching, the opposition is trying to create a political atmosphere by raising such issues, but the people of the state understand everything and are completely aware of the intentions of the government.
‘Yogi government will not spare criminals’
The BJP MP said that the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh is working on the policy of zero tolerance against crime and criminals. He said that any criminal who attacks the police, creates an atmosphere of fear in the society or commits atrocities on the poor, backward and weaker sections, strict action will be taken against him under the law. He said that the people of the state also know that the Yogi government is not going to spare the criminals at any cost.

Ravi Kishan said that he should do politics based on development issues. He said that today Uttar Pradesh is rapidly moving towards development and the identity of the state is changing. He said that Uttar Pradesh was once called a sick state, but today the same state is moving towards becoming a trillion dollar economy. He claimed that the present government has provided maximum number of medical colleges, schools, universities, roads and better electricity system. In such a situation, political debate should be on these development works and not on issues like encounter of criminals.
On the issue of encounter, Ravi Kishan said that no civilized or innocent person has an encounter. He said that action has been taken against those people against whom many criminal cases were registered, who were creating an atmosphere of terror in the society, torturing the poor and the backward and firing on the police. He said that the state government is committed to strengthening law and order and action against criminals will continue in future also.
‘Whoever poses a threat to the society will be encountered.’
Ravi Kishan said in his statement that police will take action against anyone who poses a threat to the society and challenges the law. He said that the priority of the government is to establish the rule of law in the state and ensure the safety of the common people.
