Bloody game in Thakurdwara: Real sisters stabbed with knives in fight between brothers, condition critical
Yameen Vikat, Thakurdwara. A sensational incident has come to light in Thakurdwara of Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday afternoon. Here the family feud escalated to such an extent that a brother fatally attacked his own two sisters with a knife. The incident took place in Darjiyan locality of the city, where two sisters, who had come to intervene in a dispute between brothers, were left bleeding. After the incident, there was a stir in the area and after hearing the screams, the policemen deployed nearby immediately reached the spot. The police, showing promptness, caught the accused brother from the spot itself. Both the injured sisters have been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
Actually, this whole matter is related to the mutual fight between brothers, in which sisters became scapegoats. There was a long standing rift between Shabbir Qureshi’s two sons, Wasif and Asif, living near Prathama Gramin Bank in Mohalla Darjiyan. This frequent fight in the house took a bloody turn on Friday.
The family was divided at home, mother and son on one side and sisters on the other.
According to the local people, factionalism was at its peak in this family of Shabbir Qureshi. Both sisters Rukhsana and Aasna always supported their younger brother Asif. At the same time, his mother stood in favor of the elder son Wasif. Due to this issue, there was often an atmosphere of tension in the house. Even on Friday afternoon, an argument started between Wasif and his sisters over some issue. The argument escalated so much that Wasif lost his temper. It is alleged that he picked up a knife kept in the house and started attacking his own sisters Rukhsana and Asna.
Policemen posted at the bank showed alertness, accused Wasif arrested
When sounds of screaming came from inside the house, there was panic. The good thing was that there was Pratham Gramin Bank right near the house, where policemen were deployed on duty. On hearing the noise, the policemen reached the spot without wasting time. They caught the accused Wasif red handed with a blood stained knife. If the police had delayed even a little in reaching the spot, perhaps some untoward incident could have happened.
Treatment going on in the hospital, forensic team collected evidence
The police immediately admitted both the injured sisters in a bleeding condition to the Community Health Center (CHC) of Thakurdwara, where a team of doctors is treating them. The condition of both is said to be serious. On the other hand, considering the seriousness of the incident, the Kotwali police has also called the forensic team on the spot. Forensic experts have collected blood samples and other evidence from the incident site. The police are taking the accused Wasif into custody and interrogating him in the police station, so that the real reason for the dispute can be found out.
