What is Blue Aadhar Card?
Blue Aadhaar is a special Aadhaar card issued for children below 5 years of age. Its color is blue and information related to the child’s name, photo, date of birth, gender and parents’ Aadhaar is recorded in it.
> The special thing is that fingerprints and iris scans of the child are not taken at this age.

How to make it online and offline?

Go to UIDAI website.
Select Book an Appointment in My Aadhaar.
Verify OTP with mobile number.
Book a slot by choosing the city, date and time.

Go to the nearest Aadhaar Seva Centre.
Fill out the enrollment form.
Submit the child’s documents.
Mother or father should get their Aadhaar and biometric verification done.
At the end you will get the Acknowledgment Slip, from which the status of the application can be tracked.
In how many days will you get Aadhaar?
Bal Aadhaar Card is usually issued within 60 to 90 days after the enrollment is completed. Status can also be checked online through enrollment ID.
Why is an update necessary at the age of 5 and 15?
Blue base is not permanent. Child’s:
Biometric update for the first time on completion of 5 years,
On completion of 15 years, it is mandatory to update the photo and biometric again.
