Lucknow. The Revenue Council has issued the order for promotion of Naib Tehsildars for the selection year 2026-27. On the basis of the recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee, 332 Naib Tehsildars have been promoted to the post of Tehsildar. The officers getting promotion will get pay in Level-10 of the pay matrix. Under this pay scale, the salary is fixed from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. In the order issued by the Revenue Council, provisions have also been made regarding taking charge with promotion and following the prescribed conditions and instructions.

The promotion of officers has been done under the regular selection process. The Departmental Promotion Committee had recommended promotion of eligible Naib Tehsildars on the basis of service records and prescribed standards. After this the Revenue Council issued the order. The promoted officers will now have to assume new responsibilities as Tehsildars. The concerned officers will have to take charge of the new post as per the prescribed procedure.
