New Delhi, August 31, 2026- India's economy bullet pace has remained the same. The GDP growth rate in the first quarter of 2026-27 has been recorded at 7.8 percent. Some time ago, due to rising inflation, it seemed that India's economy was making some losses this year. But the figures presented by the Ministry of Statistics and Programs (MoSPI) are surprising. According to this data, the Indian economy has maintained a good pace in the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27 (April to June). During this period, the country's real GDP has grown at the rate of 7.8 percent.
first quarter report
Today, Monday, August 31, MoSPI has released the GDP figures for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27. According to which, there has been a jump of 10.3 percent in nominal GDP in the April-June quarter. According to the government, despite the ongoing economic challenges in the world, the Indian economy has maintained the pace of its development.
India's exemplary GDP growth of 7.8% during Q1 of FY 2026-27 is a herculean feat.
The collective strength of our people ensured India delivered such growth despite oil price shocks and supply chain issues in the midst of global uncertainties.
Doomsayers were doomed and India…
