Cabinet expansion of Suvendu government will take place tomorrow, many new faces will get place!

Kolkata: The BJP government in West Bengal is going to make a major expansion of its cabinet on Monday, June 01, 2026. According to official sources, in this special exercise the entire cabinet will be formed simultaneously. The aim of the government is to speed up administrative work.

Swearing in at Raj Bhavan at 11 am   

Sources said that the swearing-in ceremony will take place at Raj Bhavan around 11 am on Monday. Preparations for this are in full swing. The Governor will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers. The political turmoil has intensified ever since the news of cabinet expansion came to light.

New and young faces will get a chance   

It is being claimed that Suvendu government can give place to many new and young faces in its cabinet. The party is considering many names. The main objective of the government is to further strengthen the governance system by inducting new ministers. Official sources say that many new faces may take oath as ministers in tomorrow’s special ceremony.

BJP achieved huge majority   

Bharatiya Janata Party has secured a huge majority in the recently held assembly elections. BJP has formed the government for the first time in the state by winning more than 200 seats. Mamata Banerjee’s party TMC had to face a crushing defeat in this election. This victory of BJP is being considered as a big change in the politics of Bengal.

Violence is not stopping even after the elections   

Even after the election results, incidents of violence are not stopping in Bengal. Recently, a case of alleged attack on TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee came to light in Sonarpur. TMC has called it a conspiracy. Whereas BJP says that these attacks are the result of internal factionalism of TMC. After the cabinet expansion, law and order will be the biggest challenge before the Suvendu government.
