Maha rebellion against Mamata Banerjee! 60 out of 80 TMC MLAs out of reach, stir in Bengal politics!

TMC 60 Out of 80 MLAs Not Attend Meeting: Many leaders have left TMC after the crushing defeat by BJP in the West Bengal Assembly elections. After the election defeat, all is not well in Trinamool Congress (TMC). Many MLAs and MPs are said to be angry with the party leadership. These speculations got further strength on Sunday when 60 out of 80 MLAs remained missing from the meeting to be held at Mamata Banerjee’s house after the attack on Abhishek Banerjee. This has created a stir in the party.

According to reports, an important meeting was organized at Mamata’s house on Sunday, in which all the MLAs were called, but about 60 MLAs remained missing from the meeting, due to which the meeting had to be cancelled.

Fear of major split in the party

Later, clarification was given by the party that all the MLAs were busy in the case of attack on Abhishek and Kalyan Banerjee and that is the reason why they did not attend Mamata’s meeting. The NDTV report quoted TMC sources as saying that this meeting was called by the party’s legislature party leader Shobhandev Chattopadhyay at Mamata Banerjee’s house.

The MLAs were waited for for some time, but when they did not arrive, the meeting was finally cancelled. It was not possible to contact the absent MLAs at that time. Because of this, questions are now being raised whether there is going to be a big split in TMC.

MLA did not attend the meeting

After the attack on Abhishek Banerjee in Sonarpur, Mamata Banerjee had called a meeting of all the MLAs on Sunday to unite the party and decide the future strategy. There was a discussion in the political circles of TMC that in this meeting of Mamata Banerjee, a class of MLAs is going to be held and they will be asked to fight on the ground. But when it was time for the meeting at Mamata’s house, there was silence at Mamata Banerjee’s residence. Contrary to speculations, more than half of the MLAs did not attend this important meeting.
