Team India's troubles increased due to Colombo test draw
The Indian cricket team won the 2-match Test series played with Sri Lanka by 1-0. But, the second match of the series was played in Colombo, in which the Indian team could not win and the match ended in a draw. As a result, Team India remained at 5th position in the points table. The Indian team has played 11 matches so far in this edition, in which it has won 5 matches, lost 4 matches and drawn 2 matches. In this way, Team India is at fifth position with 68 points and 51.52 PCT.
How many matches will India have to win to reach the WTC final?
Team India can still reach the final of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC), but for this its path is very difficult and it will have to perform almost a miracle. Team India will have to win at least 6 of its remaining 7 matches and not lose even a single one or will have to be completely dependent on the results of other teams.
If India wins 6 out of 7 matches, then it can score around 65% points, which can be considered safe for a place in the finals. However, there is no doubt that Team India will have to depend on the results of other teams also.
