Bhurkunda, Jharkhand:- A CCL employee and a woman died in two separate road accidents on Tuesday. On Tuesday, a woman standing on the roadside near the main gate of Bhurkunda CCL Hospital was hit by a speeding bike. The woman was seriously injured in the accident. The injured woman has been identified as Sumitra Devi, resident of MCL Colony, Sayal Mod.
According to the information, Sumitra Devi was going home after discharging her granddaughter from CCL Hospital after treatment. She was standing on the roadside while taking medicine from the hospital. Meanwhile, two youths riding a high speed Passion Pro bike hit him hard. After the collision, both the youths riding the bike also fell on the road. By the time the local people tried to catch the two youths, they fled towards Bhurkunda police station on the bike. With the help of local people, the injured woman was immediately taken to CCL Hospital Bhurkunda.
Seeing his serious condition, the doctors referred him to Ranchi Sadar Hospital. Where the woman died during treatment. There was mourning among the family members after the incident. The police is identifying and searching for the youth riding the bike. Meanwhile, a CCL employee died in another road accident late Tuesday evening near Haridayari Tola of Gegda on Patratu-Ramgarh four lane under Basal police station area. The deceased has been identified as Vinay Kumar Munda, father Ramnath Munda, resident of Kurse. He was working in CCL Khalari.
It was told that Vinay Kumar Munda was returning from Khalari to his home in Kurse by bike after finishing duty on Tuesday. Meanwhile, his bike suddenly went out of control and fell on the road near Haridayari Tola of Gegda. He was seriously injured in the accident. On receiving the information, Basal police reached the spot and took the injured CCL worker to Patratu Health Center for treatment. The doctors there declared him dead after investigation.
