Bhopal. Certificates for certain reserved castes can now be made in the four newly formed districts of the state, namely Mauganj, Maihar, Pandhurna and Niwari districts. Its orders have been issued by the General Administration Department of the state. According to the order issued, caste certificate will be made in Mauganj and Maihar districts of Kumhar caste which comes under Scheduled Caste, in Mauganj, Maihar and Niwari districts of Panika tribe which comes under Scheduled Tribe and in Pandhurna district of Pardhi, Baheliya, Baheliya, Chita Pardhi, Langoli Pardhi, Phans Pardhi, Shikari, Takankar and Takiya tribes included in the Scheduled Tribe.
Similarly, caste certificates of Kumhar (Prajapati) and Kumbhar castes falling under Other Backward Classes can be made in Mauganj and Maihar districts, and caste certificates of Panka and Panika castes falling under the same category in Mauganj, Maihar and Niwari districts. All these castes have been recognized in these new districts.
