Chandrashekhar Azad’s protest continues even amidst the rain, says – ‘The fight against injustice will not stop’

Knews Desk- Despite continuous rain in Delhi, the protest by Bhim Army chief and MP Chandrashekhar Azad continued for the third day on Wednesday. He is sitting on a dharna under the statue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar in the Parliament complex in protest against the police lathicharge during the students’ demonstration at Jantar Mantar.

Chandrashekhar Azad shared a video of the protest amid rain on social media. He wrote that every drop of rain is acceptable, but injustice to innocent people will not be accepted. He said that those who have done wrong, no matter how influential they are and how big the power behind them, will have to answer.

He wrote in his post, “The thoughts of great men are the strength of my struggle.” Azad said that his movement will continue with the demand for democratic values ​​and justice.

‘It is the right of every citizen to raise voice in democracy’

After sitting on dharna, Chandrashekhar Azad raised questions regarding police action. He said that the way the students protesting at Jantar Mantar were treated is extremely sad and worrying.

He said that in democracy every citizen has the right to express his views peacefully. If this right is responded to with the use of sticks and force, then it is not only an attack on the protesters but also on the democratic system.

Azad said that he is sitting under the statue of Baba Saheb Ambedkar demanding justice and his peaceful struggle will continue until appropriate action is taken in this matter. He has also demanded action against those responsible.
