Chaos increases in FIFA World Cup 2026! Paraguay’s senator angry at Mbappe, said objectionable words in parliament

Digital Desk: In the FIFA World Cup 2026, France has performed brilliantly and made it to the quarter-finals. In the round of 16 match, Kylian Mbappe’s team defeated Paraguay 1-0. However, the dispute that started on the field after the end of the match has now reached the political level.

Paraguay’s senator Celeste Amarilla made sharp remarks against Mbappe in the parliament and made serious allegations against him. He claimed that after the match, when Paraguay goalkeeper Orlando Gil, who was playing in the World Cup for the first time, politely extended his hand to shake hands, Mbappe refused to shake hands and reacted in a loud voice. During his address, Amarilla also used several objectionable words, the details of which cannot be shared publicly.

Senator Amarilla of the Authentic Radical Liberal Party also alleged that racial remarks were made by Mbappe. However, he also said that the whole of France cannot be held responsible based on the behavior of any one person, because the country’s cultural heritage is quite rich.

Earlier, Amarilla had demanded a public apology from Mbappé on social media platform X. He warned that if an apology was not made, legal action would be taken against Mbappe. He also said that it would not be appropriate to underestimate the people of Paraguay.

How did the whole controversy start?

During the Round of 16 match, many tough tackles were seen from Paraguay’s players. It is alleged that some tackles were so dangerous that French players could have been seriously injured. Despite this, the referee did not show the card to any player.

Mbappe reportedly refused to shake Paraguay goalkeeper Orlando Gil’s hand after the match amid France’s victory. After this incident, he was also accused of making racial remarks and the controversy escalated rapidly.

Earlier, when Amarilla’s initial reaction was revealed, Mbappé had also hit back by saying that she was not worthy of her position and calling her a “disgusting woman”. Now after Amarilla’s new statement this controversy has deepened further.
