Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma practiced yoga with women policemen of Kalika Patrolling Unit, said – make Rajasthan healthy and developed by adopting yoga.

On the eve of International Yoga Day, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma practiced yoga with the Kalika Patrolling Unit of Rajasthan Police and trainee sisters of Rajasthan Police Academy at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday. This event was organized with the aim of taking yoga to the masses and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that due to the continuous efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yoga has today taken the form of a global mass movement. India’s ancient cultural heritage is today giving the message of health, balance and human welfare to the whole world.

Appeal to participate enthusiastically in yoga programs on 21st June

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma urged the people of the state to enthusiastically participate in the International Yoga Day programs to be organized on June 21. He said that do not limit yoga to just one day, but make it a part of your daily routine.

He said that regular practice of yoga makes the body healthy, mind calm and life positive. Yoga makes a person physically, mentally and spiritually strong.

Message given for healthy and developed Rajasthan

The Chief Minister said that healthy citizens are the strong foundation of a developed state. He called upon the people of the state to take active part in building a healthy, strong and developed Rajasthan by adopting yoga.

He said, “Come, let us all ensure our participation in building a healthy, strong and developed Rajasthan by adopting Yoga.”

Women policemen and trainees practiced yoga

In the program, women policemen of Kalika Patrolling Unit of Rajasthan Police, trainee sisters of Rajasthan Police Academy, senior police officers and yoga instructors also performed collective yoga exercises.

This program organized before International Yoga Day is being considered an important initiative towards increasing health awareness in the society and making yoga a mass movement.
