Nanakmata. Under the Seva Sankalp campaign, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Nanakmata on Monday and participated in the cleanliness campaign. Before the program, the Chief Minister paid obeisance at the historical Gurudwara Sri Nanakmata Sahib and wished for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of the state.
During the cleanliness campaign organized in the Gurudwara Sri Nanakmata Sahib complex, the Chief Minister himself volunteered for cleanliness. He called upon people to make cleanliness a part of their daily routine. The Chief Minister said that along with maintaining the sanctity of religious places, it is the collective responsibility of everyone to keep the surrounding environment clean. He said that clean environment also enhances the beauty of religious and tourist places and also sends a positive message among the devotees and tourists coming from outside.
The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand is a major religious and tourist state. A large number of devotees and tourists from India and abroad come here. In such a situation, it is necessary to pay special attention to the cleanliness of bus stands, railway stations, government offices, hospitals and religious places. He said that cleanliness will not be limited to any one campaign, but it will be taken forward continuously.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also mentioned the 25 years of public service tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the Prime Minister has dedicated his life to the service of the country and his countrymen. Under the Seva Sankalp campaign, which started on the Prime Minister's birthday, September 17, various service and public welfare related programs are being organized across the country. In this sequence, a special cleanliness campaign was organized in the holy premises of Nanakmata Sahib.
During the cleanliness campaign, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was honored by Gurudwara Sri Nanakmata Sahib Committee by presenting him a Saropa and a memento. The Chief Minister also took information about the arrangements of the Gurudwara complex and the facilities for the devotees.
On this occasion, District Panchayat President Ajay Maurya, BJP District President Kamal Jindal, Nagar Panchayat President Prem Singh Turna, former MLA Prem Singh Rana, State Vice President of BJP Yuva Morcha Satish Bhatt, Gurudwara Committee President Sardar Jogendra Singh, General Secretary Sardar Amarjeet Singh Boprai, Secretary Sardar Harbhajan Singh and committee officials and members were present. A large number of devotees and local people including District Magistrate Nitin Singh Bhadauria, SSP Ajay Ganpati, CDO Divesh Shashani, Additional District Magistrate Pankaj Upadhyay, Kaustubh Mishra, SDM Richa Singh were present in the program.
