On the eve of Independence Day, an inspiring initiative was taken by the district administration under the direction of District Magistrate Charcha Gaur, linking the Har Ghar Tricolor campaign with the spirit of patriotism. The patriotic film Border-2 was shown to the students of Atal Residential School, Sarvodaya Girls School and Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School.
The children were emotional after seeing on the big screen the courage, bravery, sacrifice and unwavering dedication towards the motherland of the brave soldiers protecting the country's borders. The inspiring stories of the film introduced the students to the struggle and sacrifice of the soldiers and further strengthened their sense of respect for the country and the tricolor.
During and after the film, patriotic enthusiasm was clearly visible among the children. Inspired by the patriotism of the brave soldiers, the students imbibed the message of always keeping the unity, integrity and honor of the country paramount. The students were told that patriotism is not limited to protecting the nation only on the borders. Discharging one's duties honestly, protecting national property, respecting the tricolor, fulfilling social responsibilities and contributing to the progress of the country is also true patriotism.
Organized on the eve of Independence Day, this initiative became not only an opportunity for the children to watch the film, but also an inspiring experience to know the bravery of the brave soldiers, take inspiration from their sacrifice and imbibe the spirit of Nation First. Inspiration from the bravery of the heroes, respect for the tricolor and the resolve of 'Nation First' in the mind – this was the message of this special initiative.
