New Delhi, 8 May. For the first time, China has officially admitted that when the Indian Army was destroying terrorist camps by entering the Pakistani border through ‘Operation Sindoor’ last year, Chinese engineers and technical experts were helping Pakistan by staying on-site.
According to the report of South China Morning Post, Zhang Heng, engineer of ‘Aviation Industry Corporation of China’ (AVIC), has confirmed this in an interview broadcast on Chinese government media.
What did the Chinese engineer tell??
Chinese engineer Heng told that he was providing technical help in the war. In response to a question, he said, ‘In that heat of May, the temperature was around 50 degrees. We were at a support base in Pakistan, where the roar of fighter jets and the sound of air-raid sirens were constantly echoing. It was a tough test for us mentally and physically. Chinese experts said that they were present on the spot to ensure that their aircraft could demonstrate their full combat capability.
China was testing its weapons in Pakistan
Another employee Xu Da also confessed that China was testing its weapons in Pakistan at that time. He said, ‘We nurtured the J-10, took care of it and finally handed it over to the user. And it was facing a big test.
It is noteworthy that J-10CE is an export variant of China’s J-10C 4.5-generation fighter jet. It is considered to be the most advanced model of the J-10 series. Apart from China, the only operator of J-10C is Pakistan. Pakistan had ordered 36 jets to China in 2020.
India had exposed China only last year
Interestingly, the Indian Army had exposed this double face of China only last year. Lieutenant General Rahul R. in July, 2025. Singh had said that Pakistan is actually like a ‘live lab’ for China, where China tests its weapons. India had told that China was sharing ‘live location’ and intelligence information of Indian military bases with Pakistan through its satellites. During the war, Pakistan also used China’s PL-15 missiles and Türkiye’s drones.
It has also been revealed in the American report
Recently, in a report of the US Defense Department, it was also revealed that without directly jumping into the war, China had provided huge help to Pakistan through information warfare, cyber activity and intelligence support. Chinese satellite coverage helped Pakistan see the movements of the Indian Army in real time.
India defeated Pakistan during ‘Operation Sindoor’
It is noteworthy that after the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, 2025, India had started ‘Operation Vermillion’. Under this, the Indian Army had destroyed nine major terrorist bases located in Pakistan and PoK. During this period, more than 100 terrorists were killed. After this, Pakistan became enraged by the action taken against its own terrorists and started carrying out cowardly attacks on India. However, India gave a befitting reply to these attacks and also destroyed Pakistan’s air defense system. After this, Pakistan started pleading for ceasefire and finally ceasefire happened on 10th May.
