China has presented its 5-point action plan for BRICS… India's concern may increase

New Delhi. The 18th BRICS Summit has been concluded under the chairmanship of India. The challenge of building consensus was visible even before the summit. However, on the strength of India's diplomacy, the New Delhi Declaration was approved by all the member countries. Chinese President Xi Jinping visited India for the first time after the clash in Galwan Valley. Now China will host the BRICS summit next time. In such a situation, Xi Jinping has announced a five-point action plan. In this entire action plan, emphasis was laid on trade and technology.

Let us tell you that in terms of trade, China has become a cause of concern not only for India but for many countries of the world. He sells his cheap things in markets all over the world. In such a situation, it has captured the big market of India also.

  • The BRICS summit will be held in Beijing in 2027. BRICS trading block has not been formed. However, if China makes such an effort, it will try to ensure that the global market welcomes it enthusiastically through investment protection rules and tariff reduction.

    What is China's five-point plan?

Trade and investment facilities: China has talked about Special Economic Zone Partnership in its plan. Apart from this, Xi Jinping has talked about developing large language models and creating open-source communities and zones. The third point is the development of digital economy, the fourth point is to increase production and the fifth is to provide opportunities to the youth for innovation. There is no mention of terrorism and global peace anywhere in it.

    AI issue is more stressful

China's development model is going to cause tension to the entire world. Whereas Jinping has emphasized on AI. China is already infamous for espionage. Chinese apps are becoming a problem for everyone. In such a situation, if China moves ahead in the field of AI, it will increase the problems of the world and the risk of data theft will also increase.

India keeps a close eye on China's investments. China has trapped many neighboring countries in the debt trap. There are only these in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. China has significantly captured the economy of countries like Sri Lanka. In such a situation, Japan, Europe and even America want their dependence on China to reduce. India has made free trade agreements regarding this only. Even after leaving RCEP, India was afraid of China.

In his address on the second day of the BRICS summit, Jinping said China would use the plan to expand opening-up, implement 'global development initiatives' and advance 'Belt and Road' cooperation. He said that this five-year framework is the center of China's economic and diplomatic strategy, through which China is trying to achieve sustainable development, strengthen technological capabilities and maintain its position as a major engine of the global economy.

“China's 15th five-year plan is starting this year,” Jinping said. His statement indicates that China sees its new planning cycle not only as an opportunity to reshape its domestic economy, but also as a way to deepen international partnerships. The plan, approved during the 2026 parliamentary sessions, sets out the country's development priorities until 2030 and is part of the long-term goals until 2035.

Jinping said greater self-reliance does not mean global isolation. He stressed that China will remain deeply integrated with international trade, investment and technology networks. For BRICS members and the 'Global South' this could mean greater access to the Chinese market, increased Chinese investment abroad and opportunities for broader cooperation in AI, green energy and infrastructure.
