Chopan police got big success, 02 accused arrested on charges of assault and threat, sent to court

In the ongoing campaign against crime and criminals under the direction of Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra Abhishek Verma, under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters Anil Kumar and Area Officer City Randhir Kumar Mishra, under the efficient leadership of Inspector in-charge Chopan Akhilesh Kumar Mishra, Chopan police station achieved significant success.

On the basis of the complaint given by plaintiff Abhay Jaiswal, son of Samakant Jaiswal, resident of Salkhan Bazaar, police station Chopan, district Sonbhadra, on 10.05.2026, FIR No. 0172/2026 Section 109(1), 115(2), 352, 351(3) BNS was registered at Chopan police station.

The wanted accused related to the said case were arrested from Salkhan town police station Chopan district Sonbhadra in front of Sainik Hotel on 10.05.2026 at around 18:15 pm and sent to the court after completing the legal proceedings.

Arrested accused Kanhaiya Jaiswal, son of late Rakesh Jaiswal, resident of village Salkhan police station Chopan district Sonbhadra, age about 28 years, Sudhir alias Lakhan Jaiswal son of late Rakesh Jaiswal resident of village Salkhan police station Chopan district Sonbhadra, age about 22 years.

The arresting police team mainly included SP Akhilesh Kumar Mishra of Chopan police station, SP Ramgyan Singh Yadav, SP Ramfer Yadav and other police personnel.
