Gorkha film production stalled
Recently, during the promotion of his new horror comedy film ‘Bhoot Bangla’, Akshay Kumar has shared an information which may disappoint his fans. He has officially informed that his much awaited film ‘Gorkha’ will no longer proceed for production.

Akshay Kumar had announced ‘Gorkha’ with much fanfare in 2021. At that time, the first look posters of the film were also released, in which Akshay was seen as a brave soldier of the Gorkha battalion of the Indian Army. These posters had created tremendous enthusiasm among the fans. Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan was going to direct this film and Aanand L Rai was responsible for its production.
Revealed in live session
During the promotions of Bhoot Bangla, Akshay Kumar did a live session on his official Instagram. In this conversation, when fans asked questions about ‘Gorkha’, Akshay clarified that this film will not be made now. With this announcement, all the ongoing speculations regarding the future of the film have come to an end.
Bhoot Bungalow preview from today
Although the production of ‘Gorkha’ has stopped, today is a special day for Akshay Kumar fans. After 14 years, Akshay is making a comeback with his favorite director Priyadarshan through ‘Bhoot Bangla’. Paid previews of this film have started in theaters from April 16. This is being seen as a big comeback of Akshay Kumar.
