Mohan Bhagwat’s message: Need for dialogue with the new generation
Need to show right direction through communication
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that the new generation can be shown the right direction only through dialogue.
He said that in earlier times, the words of parents were not questioned, but now the young generation questions everything. He expressed these views in the Vishwa Mangalam Sabha organized in New Delhi.
Bhagwat said that there is a need for dialogue to convince today’s young generation and not just give orders.
He also said that guidance can be given in the right direction only through dialogue. His statement has come at a time when students are protesting on the issue of paper leak.
Importance of questions of new generation
Mohan Bhagwat said that earlier the words of the parents were accepted without question. Now times have changed and the new generation asks questions.
It has become necessary to explain the logic of everything to them.
Need for discussion instead of dictation
Bhagwat said that there is a need to give affection and time to the new generation. Today, what is needed is not dictation, but discussion.
They need awareness, not just orders.
Role of family and society
Today there is a lack of mutual communication in families. Only regular communication with children and youth can give them the right direction.
Merely giving orders will not work, family and society will have to spend time with the youth and listen to them.
attention to the behavior of elders
Bhagwat said that today’s generation closely observes the behavior of elders. If the father lies, the children recognize it immediately.
Therefore there is a need for values, belonging, conversation and good examples.
