Controversy in Aravali Express
TV show 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' actress Antara Banerjee has recently been embroiled in a controversy in Aravali Express. This incident happened when she was going for shooting in Surat. She had a sleeper class ticket, but entered an AC coach, which led to an argument with other passengers. The incident occurred on August 12 between Borivali and Dahanu around 9:30 to 10:50 pm.
A passenger asked Antara to give up the reserved seat, but she refused. After this the passenger informed the ticket collector and RPF.

RPF assistant sub-inspector Yamini Kant Mishra said that when he and constable Rajesh Kumar tried to intervene, Antara misbehaved with the officers. He took off his clothes and brandished a blade, injuring himself and Mishra. Mishra alleges that Antara also damaged his uniform and mobile.

To control the situation, RPF closed the doors of the AC coach. It is being said that before getting down at Dahanu railway station, Antara tried to break the window glass. The incident lasted for more than an hour, leaving other passengers terrified.

The next morning Borivali Railway Police detained Antara. GRP Inspector Kunda Gawde said that according to eyewitnesses, she may have been upset due to not getting the AC coach ticket. When he was asked to contact his relatives or lawyer, he refused and demanded his arrest.
Case registered and released on bail
Police registered a case against Antara Banerjee for endangering security, causing hurt, assault and intentional insult to government employees. He was given a notice and later released on bail.

Antara started her career with television and also appeared in 'Gumrah: End of Innocence'. After this, he stepped into films with the 2014 comedy film 'The Shaukeens'. From 2016 to 2018, she played the character of Pinky Ahlawat in &TV's show 'Badho Bahu'.
