Fatty Liver Disease: Know its symptoms and prevention methods

Symptoms of Fatty Liver Disease

If you repeatedly feel bloated or tired as soon as you wake up in the morning, it could be a sign of lack of sleep or unhealthy eating habits. But these symptoms can also be an early sign of a serious problem called fatty liver disease. This disease can cause liver damage without any obvious symptoms for many years.

What is fatty liver disease?

Fatty liver is called the 'silent killer' because its symptoms are common. Its main symptoms are drowsiness after waking up in the morning, lack of energy throughout the day and heaviness or bloating in the stomach after meals. This disease progresses slowly and by the time it is detected, the condition can become serious.

Signs of fatigue and bloating

Liver is the body's main source of energy and digestion. When fat increases in the liver, metabolism slows down, due to which food is not digested properly and toxins start accumulating in the body. This is the reason that despite getting enough sleep, fatigue persists and one feels bloated in the stomach.

Serious symptoms of fatty liver
