Environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk, Abhijit Deepke of ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ called for a protest on the issues of paper leakage, privatization of education and rising unemployment. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan finally resigned after this movement had repercussions across the country. The National Anthem concluded the celebration by saying that wherever there is injustice, students and student organizations will stand against injustice.
