New Delhi: Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has announced to take out a protest march in New Delhi on 5 September 2026, accusing the central government of not fulfilling the promises made to the youth. Let us tell you, this demonstration has been announced after the meeting of the National Executive Committee of the organization on Monday, CJP has called it a peaceful march.

New Delhi Police Headquarters will be marched out

According to the organization, the proposed march will start from India Gate and go to New Delhi Police Headquarters. It has been claimed that students and youth from all over the country will participate in it. The march is said to be led by the families of students who lost their lives in cases related to the NEET exam and the families of those affected by the alleged police action during the 'Sansad Chalao' march on July 20.

Government accused of breaking promises

Along with this, CJP says that the nationwide youth demonstrations were called off after the assurances given by the Central Government on July 25. However, the organization alleges that even after almost a month, concrete steps have not been taken towards implementing those promises. This issue was discussed in the meeting of the National Executive Committee. The organization claimed that the government is continuously postponing the matter and avoiding giving a clear answer. Not only this, CJP also alleged that the government is delaying fulfilling its promises citing technical procedures.

Questions regarding FIR also

Along with this, the organization has also mentioned the ongoing proceedings before the Supreme Court. CJP claims that the expected clarity has not been received from the Central Government regarding providing the list of FIRs registered across the country. According to the organization, after receiving this list, the court can consider these cases together. CJP said that he is dissatisfied with the attitude of the government and that is why the decision has been taken to take to the streets again. Reiterating that the protest should be peaceful, the organization has appealed to the students and youth to join the march on September 5.
