During the Independence Day celebrations in Hansi, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini hoisted the tricolor and paid tribute to the martyrs. He gave information about the development works of Haryana and enumerated many achievements including approval of 471 posts and expansion of the hospital in Hansi.
Hansi: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini hoisted the national flag and took the salute of the parade at the state level function of Independence Day in Hansi, the new district of Haryana. Paying tribute to the martyrs, he gave the message of 'Developed India-Developed Haryana'. Those doing excellent work were honored at the ceremony, while the Chief Minister also informed about the work related to the expansion of administrative structure and health facilities in Hansi.
Chief Minister hoisted the tricolor in Hansi
State level function was organized in Hansi on the occasion of Independence Day. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini hoisted the national flag and took the salute of the parade. During this, he reverently remembered the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and defense of the country.
Members of martyred families and people who made notable contributions in various fields were honored at the function. Hansi boxer Narendra Berwal, who won a silver medal in the Commonwealth Games, also received the honour.
Apart from this, employment guarantee certificates were provided to nine local youth. Cultural presentations by the students and performance by the jawans of Haryana Police Academy Madhuban created an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the function.
Chief Minister enumerated the achievements of the government
In his address, the Chief Minister mentioned the development journey of Haryana. He said that during the last 12 years, more than two lakh youth have been given government jobs in the state. He also informed that about 43 thousand youth got employment in the last one and a half year.
Referring to the agriculture sector, the Chief Minister talked about purchasing 24 crops at minimum support price for farmers and encouraging natural farming. He also mentioned the work being done in the fields of women empowerment, social security, health, education, sports and industry.
The Chief Minister stressed on taking forward the goal of 'Developed India-Developed Haryana' and described the role of youth, farmers and women as important in the development of the state.
471 posts got approval in Hansi
The Chief Minister also informed about the work done to strengthen the administrative structure of Hansi as a new district. He informed that 471 posts have been sanctioned for the administrative operations of the district.
Regarding health facilities, he said that the capacity of Hansi Civil Hospital has been increased from 50 to 100 beds. This will help in providing better medical facilities to the local people.
Apart from this, new divisions and sub-divisions of Public Works Department have been created. The Chief Minister said that as a new district, continuous work is being done to strengthen the administrative and infrastructure in Hansi.
During the Independence Day celebrations, the government's priorities on issues related to development, employment, farmer welfare and social security were also put forward.
