Bihar News: Bihar Chief Minister Shri Samrat Chaudhary respectfully remembered freedom fighter, educationist and farmer leader Late Guru Sahay Lal Ji on the occasion of his birth anniversary on 11 August 2026. On this occasion, a state function was organized at Shri Krishna Smarak Bhawan complex in Patna. After reaching the function, the Chief Minister offered flowers on the portrait of Guru Sahay Lal Ji and paid his tribute to him.
Chief Minister remembered the great personality
During the function, Chief Minister Shri Samrat Chaudhary expressed his respect towards late Guru Sahay Lal ji by garlanding and offering flowers on his portrait. Guru Sahay Lal ji was remembered as a freedom fighter, educationist and farmer leader. In this program organized on the occasion of his birth anniversary, many public representatives, officials and social workers also paid tribute by offering flowers on his portrait.
Many ministers and senior officials of Bihar government were also present on this occasion. Building Construction Minister Smt. Leshi Singh, Cooperation Minister Shri Ramkripal Yadav and Science, Technology and Technical Education Minister Smt. Sheela Kumari along with Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh also participated in the program. Apart from this, Patna Division Commissioner Mr. Mayank Varwade, District Magistrate Mr. Chandrashekhar Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Karthikeya K. Sharma and many other officials were present.
Tribute given through cultural programs
Artists from the Information and Public Relations Department also gave their presentations during the state function. Various programs related to Aarti puja, bhajan-kirtan and patriotism were presented in the programme. The artists made the ceremony dignified by presenting national songs, national anthem, Bihar songs and patriotic songs.
Through this event, the contribution and personality of Late Guru Sahay Lal Ji was remembered with respect. The public representatives, officials and social workers present at the state function including the Chief Minister paid homage to his portrait and bowed to him.
