CM Yogi gave a great gift of ₹516 crore, gave a strong message to the opponents

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday gave a new impetus to the development of Gonda district. Giving a big gift to the district, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 262 development projects costing a huge amount of about Rs 516 crore. During this grand programme, he also handed over symbolic cheques, keys of new government residences, sanction letters and certificates from the stage to the beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes.

Addressing the public meeting, the Chief Minister said that in the last 12 years, due to the efficient leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the continuous efforts of the double engine government of the state, a completely new picture of development has emerged in the state. He proudly said that now the youth of entire Uttar Pradesh including Gonda do not have to extend their hands to anyone or struggle to prove their identity. Yogi reminded that Gonda, which was once left far behind in the race of development, is today progressing rapidly in the country and the state. New investments are continuously coming here and local youth are getting excellent employment opportunities in their own homes.

What was once just a dream has now become a reality.

Talking about the health and education system of the district, the Chief Minister said that there was a time when no one could even imagine a medical college in Gonda, but today a wonderful medical college is operating here with full capacity. Not only this, now engineering and agriculture colleges in the district are also shaping the future of the youth. Along with this, schools, hospitals and other basic facilities are being expanded very rapidly in villages and cities. He assured the public that the state government is taking major decisions immediately without any delay on the proposals for roads, bridges, culverts and all other development works sent by the local public representatives.

Special mention was made of youth employment and 60 thousand police recruitment.

CM Yogi specifically mentioned the bumper recruitment of 60,244 police personnel completed recently. He said that hundreds of talented youth from Terai districts like Gonda, Bahraich, Shravasti and Balrampur have got government jobs in this recruitment with complete transparency. Taking aim at the opposition, he said that now employment for the youth is not limited only to the cities of western Uttar Pradesh like Noida, Ghaziabad and Meerut, but our government is taking it directly to the ground to the backward districts of Purvanchal and Terai.

Discussed the splendor of Ayodhya and historical importance of Shravasti.

During his address, the Chief Minister also mentioned Ayodhya and Shravasti prominently. He said that after a long wait and hard struggle of 500 years, a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram has finally been completed in Ayodhya. Today lakhs of devotees and foreign tourists from all over the world are drawn towards Ayodhya. Describing the importance of the neighboring district Shravasti, he said that this holy land was settled by Lord Shri Ram’s son Luv and Lord Buddha himself had spent his Chaturmas here. The state government is rapidly constructing an airport there to connect Shravasti directly by air route, which will give a new and strong impetus to the economic development of this entire region.

Special awareness programs will run in the state from June 5 to June 21.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that from the World Environment Day celebrated on June 5 to the International Yoga Day on June 21, a series of special programs are being run in the entire state. Through these programs, the major achievements of Prime Minister Modi’s 12 years of unmatched tenure and the double engine government will be taken among the public. Under this special campaign, health fairs, agricultural fairs, employment fairs and loan fairs will be organized on a large scale at every block level of the state, so that the general public can get direct benefits of government schemes.

Special emphasis given on promotion of natural farming and free electricity scheme

Praising the farmers of Gonda, the Chief Minister said that the scope of natural farming is increasing very fast here. He appealed to the people to leave chemical farming and adopt a natural lifestyle and move towards a healthy life. Along with this, while referring to the ambitious ‘PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme’ of the Central Government, he said that now solar panels are being installed in every house in the state. This will not only reduce people’s electricity bill to zero, but will also give a new boost to the resolve for energy self-reliance and green energy in the country.

Green signal given to many new development proposals for flood protection and Gonda

At the end of the program, the Chief Minister assured the people of Gonda that along with these projects worth Rs 516 crore, many new and big development proposals have also been approved for the district. Under this, special approval has been given to the flood control project for the construction of a long and strong bridge on Matiyari Ghat and for the safety of the people living on the banks of Ghaghra river. Apart from this, a well-equipped veterinary hospital, government ITI and a modern workshop will be constructed in Colonelganj in Ramapur area. With the opening of these new institutions, new avenues of technical education and employment will open up for the local youth.
