CM Yogi gave a big gift to PRD soldiers, announced to increase the duty allowance from 500 to 600.

Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the conference of Provincial Guard soldiers in Gorakhpur today. On this occasion, the foundation stone of the multi-storey PRD barrack costing ₹ 23 crore from Gorakshanagari in Lucknow and the inauguration of the Chief Minister PRD Cashless Medical Scheme were also done. He said, the spirit of service and discipline of all the volunteers of the Provincial Guard, who maintain law and order in Uttar Pradesh and cooperate with the police-administration in every adverse situation, is a strong pillar of the progress and security of the state. Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the volunteers of the Provincial Guard.

The Chief Minister said, today there are 56 such districts in the state, where if there is any tallest building, it is the barrack of policemen. Now good infrastructure facilities have also been developed for the Home Guard volunteers. Also said, from today onwards, annual health insurance cover of ₹ 5 lakh is being provided to PRD soldiers. Now you will be free to go to any government hospital or private sector hospital empaneled by the government and get your family treated. Today the Uttar Pradesh government is providing the facility of Chief Minister PRD Cashless Medical Scheme to all 31,000 volunteers.

The Chief Minister said that, we had increased the duty allowance of PRD soldiers to ₹ 395 in the year 2022, which was increased to ₹ 500 last year. Now we are going to increase it again to ₹600. Today we all are associating with the launch program of 'Chief Minister PRD Cashless Medical Scheme'. More than 31 thousand volunteers and their families will get free medical facilities up to ₹ 5 lakh every year. I heartily congratulate all the volunteers of the Provincial Guard and their family members.
