“Cockroach Janata Party:- Founder Abhijit Dipke Accused of Being ISI Asset — BJP Claims 49% Followers from Pakistan, Calls It ‘Pakistan Janata Party’.

Cockroach Janata Party: The ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ has been a major topic of discussion on social media. In just one week, the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ has garnered over 20 million followers on Instagram. The Cockroach Janata Party has created a sensation not only in India but across the globe. Abhijit Dipke, the founder of the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP), is currently facing a barrage of questions on social media. Now, claims are surfacing that a significant portion of the CJP’s followers reside in Pakistan. Tejinder Bagga, the General Secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha, has vociferously raised this allegation.

Dubbing it the “Pakistan Janata Party,” Bagga shared some data on Friday, which he claimed provided a country-wise breakdown of the “Cockroach Party’s” Instagram followers. The data indicated that citizens from Pakistan (49%), the US (14%), and Bangladesh (14%) collectively accounted for 77% of the party’s Instagram followers. According to this data, India ranked fourth, with its followers constituting a mere 9%.

BJP leader Preeti Gandhi also highlighted this data. She posted on the social media platform Given the massive number of followers the party has—which Dipke claims gives voice to the concerns of Gen-Z—many users have pointed out that these could potentially be bots or inactive accounts originating from abroad.

Is Abhijit Dipke an ISI Asset?
Such is the frenzy surrounding the CJP—a parody party launched just a week ago following controversial remarks made by Chief Justice Surya Kant. 1. During a hearing, the CJI reportedly compared unemployed youth to cockroaches. However, he later clarified that his remarks had been misquoted.

Abhijit’s parents have begun to fear that their son could land in trouble. Abhijit, a student at Boston University in the US, launched ‘CJP’ just a week earlier. Dipke had also previously been associated with the Aam Aadmi Party.

Shashi Tharoor’s Significant Statement
Shashi Tharoor, the Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram, posted a lengthy statement on the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), noting: “Many users have dismissed this as a Pakistan-orchestrated conspiracy; however, such a conclusion is overly simplistic. In rebuttal, Abhijit Dipke has asserted that 94% of his followers are based within India.”

He further wrote that whatever the truth may be (and perhaps @Instagram should clarify its stance on this matter), my contention is that, in a democracy, suppressing this is foolish. The greatest virtue of a democracy is that it provides a platform for people to express their sentiments, frustrations, and grievances. Allowing such matters to find expression on a satirical site is, in fact, in the national interest.
