Commonwealth Games: India wins 2 gold medals within 15 minutes.

After Asmita, Harsh won the final in Judo, India has 19 medals so far.

India has won two gold medals within 15 minutes at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. Asmita Dey and Harsh Singh became the champions in judo. This is the first time in Commonwealth Games history that India has won a gold medal in judo.

At 8:56 p.m. Friday, Asmita Dey defeated Canada’s Heidi Quach 2-1 in the women’s 48kg final. Then, at 9:11 p.m., Harsh Singh claimed the second gold medal with a 10-0 victory over Australia’s Joshua Katz in the men’s 60kg final.

India has reached 9th place in the Commonwealth Games medal tally. So far, the team has won a total of 19 medals, including 5 gold, 10 silver, and 4 bronze.
