Construction of 2 important roads starts in UP, good news for people
News Desk. Relief news has emerged for the people in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The construction work of two important roads has been started in ward number 40 of the city. About Rs 35 lakh will be spent on these roads to be built from Municipal Corporation funds.
During the program organized in Patel Nagar area, Mayor Dr. Ajay Kumar and City MLA Rajeev Gumber jointly inaugurated the construction work. There is an atmosphere of happiness among the people of the area due to the commencement of road construction. This will provide great relief to the people.
Traffic will be easy, there will be relief from old problems
According to Municipal Corporation officials, after the construction of the road, local people will get convenience in commuting. People were facing problems due to bad roads for a long time, which is now expected to provide relief. The Mayor said that continuous development work is being done to improve the basic facilities in the city. Strengthening facilities like roads, electricity, water, drainage and cleanliness is the priority of the Municipal Corporation.
Emphasis on development works in every ward
The Mayor said that development plans are being taken forward as per the need in all the wards of the Municipal Corporation area. Their objective is to provide better facilities to the citizens and rapid development of the city. MLA Rajeev Gumber also said that road construction will accelerate the development of the area and people will get better benefits of basic facilities.
Condition of drains becomes a challenge before monsoon
On the other hand, encroachment on drains in the city has increased the concern of the Municipal Corporation. Questions are being raised regarding cleanliness arrangements before monsoon. There are about 319 drains in the city, including small and big ones. At many places, cleaning work is being affected due to temporary occupation of drains. At some places, there are problems in cleaning the drains due to the presence of street vendors, shops and other goods.
