New Delhi: An important update related to the application has come out for the candidates preparing for NEET PG 2026. If the image of photo, signature or thumb impression is not uploaded correctly during registration, then an opportunity has been given to correct it. The selective edit window for such candidates will be available from 12th August to 15th August 2026 till 11:55 pm by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
After the expiry of the stipulated time, candidates will not get a chance to correct these mistakes. In such a situation, to avoid rejection of the application, candidates should check their form and all the uploaded images immediately. NBEMS has already clarified that registration can be rejected if the image is not uploaded as per the prescribed standards.
Mistake in photo can be costly
The photo uploaded in the application must be as per the rules mentioned in the Image Upload Instructions of NBEMS. There may be problems in the application if the format, quality and other technical standards of the photo are not correct. Therefore, candidates should check their uploaded photo carefully and correct it in the edit window if necessary.
Signature and thumb impression are also necessary
Candidates often pay more attention to the photograph of the application, while the image of signature and thumb impression is equally important. According to the instructions of NBEMS, it is necessary to upload both of these as per the prescribed rules.
Fill name and other details carefully
Candidates should take special care while filling name, date of birth, gender, category and other personal information in the application. It is important to fill this information by combining it with the relevant documents. Also keep in mind that changes in every information are not allowed during the application process.
Avoid giving fake information
Candidates should provide only correct and certified information in the application. NBEMS can take action against the application if incorrect information or fake documents are found. Apart from this, the candidate can also be debarred from future examinations.
