Dogecoin plunged 3.87% to $0.07 and Avalanche dropped 2.68% to $6.76, leading decliners in an otherwise mixed evening session on July 8.

Bitcoin rallied 1.84% to $63,694, while Ethereum climbed 1.7% to $1,786; BNB rose a more modest 1.36% to $581.26, and Cardano fell 1.9% to $0.18.

Solana fell 1.2% to $81.29 and XRP eased 1.17% to $1.12, leaving the broader session tone mixed, with large-cap coins posting gains even as altcoins faced notable selling pressure.

Dogecoin traded within a 24-hour range of $0.07 to $0.08, touching its session low as selling intensified into the evening.
