New Delhi: There is big news for lakhs of students waiting for CUET UG Result 2026. National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result of Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now download their scorecard online by visiting the official website and start preparing for further admission process.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the result of Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 on 23rd June 2026. Lakhs of candidates who appeared in the examination can now check and download their scorecard by visiting the official website. This examination, conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in central, state, private and deemed universities across the country, is considered one of the most important entrance examinations in the field of higher education.
This year CUET UG exam was conducted from 11th May to 31st May and 6th and 7th June 2026 at various examination centres. Since the completion of the examination, students were eagerly waiting for their results, which has now been abolished.

More than 11 lakh candidates had appeared
According to the data released by NTA, a total of 15,68,867 candidates had registered for CUET UG 2026. Of these, 11,64,098 candidates appeared in the examination. Those who appeared for the examination included 5,85,596 girl students, 5,78,500 male students and 2 third gender candidates.
These figures show that the popularity of CUET for admission to higher education institutions across the country is continuously increasing. A large number of students are now choosing this national level examination as the primary option for admission into universities.
List of top performing candidates released
NTA has also released the list of top 20 candidates who have excelled in the exam. The candidates included in the list have secured scores ranging from 1177 to 1232 marks. The candidate who has secured the highest marks of 1232.19 has topped at All India level.
Experts believe that this year also the competition for admission in prestigious central universities is going to be very tough. In such a situation, candidates should pay attention to the cutoff and counseling process of various universities based on their scores.
With the release of the results, now the focus of the students will be on the merit list of universities, seat allotment and admission process, which is likely to start in the coming days.
