CWC Recruitment 2026: How many vacancies on which posts?
In this recruitment, 70 posts of Assistant Manager General and 60 posts of Assistant Manager Technical have been earmarked. There are 10 posts for Assistant Manager Finance. Engineering sector includes 22 vacancies of Assistant Manager Civil, 5 of Electrical and 4 of Mechanical related posts.
For Junior Executive, 78 posts have been kept in General category and 78 posts in Technical category. Thus the total number of vacancies is 327. Educational qualification is different as per the post, hence candidates should check their degree and related eligibility before applying.
For the post of Assistant Manager General, two years post graduation degree or post graduation diploma in any discipline is required. For technical post, one should have prescribed engineering degree in Agriculture, Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology or related subjects. For Assistant Manager Finance, candidates must possess Graduation in Commerce with three years experience in Finance and Accounting or CA Intermediate/CMA Intermediate qualification and experience as mentioned in the notification.
For Engineering Civil and Electrical posts, engineering degree in the respective branch is required. For mechanical related posts, prescribed degree in Mechanical Engineering has been sought. For Junior Executive General, graduation in any discipline along with working knowledge of computer and MS Office is required. Technical posts require a prescribed graduate degree in Agriculture, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Science or related subjects like Chemistry.
Age limit, salary and application fee
The maximum age limit for CWC recruitment has been kept at 28 years. Age will be calculated based on the last date of application 15 November 2026. Reserved category candidates will get age relaxation as per rules. According to the available information, SC and ST category will be given five years relaxation and OBC category will be given three years relaxation. Candidates should confirm their eligibility in the official notification based on their category and date of birth.
Talking about salary, the pay scale for the post of Assistant Manager is ₹ 40,000 to ₹ 1,40,000 per month. Whereas for Junior Executive post, the pay scale is fixed at ₹ 29,000 to ₹ 93,000 per month. Actual salary and other allowances will be as per applicable rules and conditions of appointment.
The application fee has been kept at ₹500 for SC, ST, Divyang and women candidates. Unreserved, EWS and OBC category candidates will have to pay a fee of ₹ 1,350.
