World No. 3 and Asian Games bronze medalist Preeti Pawar secured her place in the final with a 5-0 unanimous decision over Zambia’s Catherine Mwape in the semifinals. With this victory, she also secured the silver medal. Preeti, playing in her first Commonwealth Games, completely dominated Catherine Mwape in the semifinals. She will now face Canada’s Scarlit Delgado in the final, which will be played on Saturday, August 1st.

One-sided victory in the semi-finals
