Dearness allowance increased to 60 percent: DA Hike

The state government has approved 2 percent increase in dearness allowance of government employees. After this, now dearness allowance has increased from 58 percent to 60 percent. Official orders have also been issued by the Finance Department in this regard. This decision of the government is being considered as a big relief for the employees.

Benefit to lakhs of employees and pensioners

About 16 lakh government officers and employees will benefit from this decision of the government. Along with this, a large number of pensioners will also get the benefit of increased dearness allowance. After the increased allowance, there will be an increase in the take home salary of the employees.

This is how the amount will increase in salary

Dearness allowance is decided on the basis of basic salary of the employee (DA Hike). For example, if the basic salary of an employee is Rs 35 thousand, then earlier he used to get Rs 20 thousand 300 at the rate of 58 percent. Now according to 60 percent dearness allowance, he will get Rs 21 thousand. That means you will get an additional amount of around Rs 700 every month.

You will also get the benefit of arrears

According to the information, along with the increased amount, employees are also likely to get arrears from January to April. At the same time, the monthly income of officers whose basic salary is higher can increase by Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000.
