Daffy Duck voice artist gives Nicole Kidman’s AMC ad a wild Coyote vs. Acme twist during a recent screening. Actor Eric Bauza made an unannounced appearance at a 5:00 PM screening of the newly released movie. Bauza performed Kidman’s familiar AMC Theaters monologue in Daffy’s voice.
The performance kept the original wording of the speech before Eric Bauza changed the ending. He finished with Porky Pig’s signature catchphrase, “Th-th-th-that’s all, folks!” before “We come to this place for magic. We come to AMC theaters to laugh, to cry, to care… Somehow heartbreak feels good in a place like this… Th-th-th-that’s all, folks!”

Which Looney Tunes roles has Eric Bauza played?
Eric Bauza voices several Looney Tunes characters in Coyote vs. Acme, including some of the franchise’s best-known figures. His credited roles are Bugs Bunny, Charlie Dog, Daffy Duck, Dr. Lorre, Elmer Fudd, Foghorn Leghorn, Gossamer, Porky Pig, Road Runner, and Tweety.
Bauza has also voiced other Looney Tunes characters in earlier projects. His credits include Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Marvin the Martian, and Tweety in Looney Tunes Cartoons. He also provided additional voices in Space Jam: A New Legacy.
Coyote vs. Acme gives those characters a live-action setting centered on Wile E. Coyote’s legal battle. After another string of failed Acme products, the coyote hires billboard lawyer Kevin Avery, played by Will Forte.
Lana Condor plays Paige Avery, Kevin’s niece, while John Cena portrays Acme lawyer Buddy Crane. Dave Green directed Coyote vs. Acme from a screenplay by Samy Burch.
The movie is based on the 1990 New Yorker article “Coyote v. Acme” by Ian Frazier. It combines live-action performers with animated Looney Tunes characters.
Coyote vs. Acme also has an unusual release history. Warner Bros. originally shelved the completed movie in 2023 as part of a tax write-off decision. Following strong backlash, Ketchup Entertainment acquired the film for theatrical distribution.
Coyote vs. Acme arrived in theaters on August 28, 2026. The film runs for 103 minutes and carries a PG rating for cartoon violence and some language.
