Bihar Samrat Choudhary Viksit Bharat 2047: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has said that a drug-free young generation is the biggest need for building a developed India and a prosperous Bihar. While participating in the launch program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Drug-Free Youth for Developed India Resolution” campaign through video conferencing, he said that the youth will have the most important role in achieving the goal of a developed India by the year 2047. According to the Chief Minister, only healthy, disciplined and drug-free youth can give a new direction to the country’s development.
He said that de-addiction is not possible only through law, but for this, active participation of the society and widespread public awareness is necessary. Referring to the complete prohibition of liquor implemented in Bihar since the year 2016, Samrat Chaudhary said that its positive results are clearly visible in the society. Women and families in particular have benefited from it and there has been a positive change in the social environment. He appealed to the youth to make the resolution of a drug-free India a mass movement and said that the Bihar government is giving equal priority to economic development along with social reforms.

“Drug Free Youth” campaign launched
The Chief Minister joined the “Drug-Free Youth for a Developed India” campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conferencing. The campaign was launched in Bihar by Governor Lieutenant General (Retired) Syed Ata Hasnain and the Chief Minister by jointly lighting a lamp. At the event, the Prime Minister and the Governor also conveyed the message of building a drug-free India to the youth and emphasized social participation.
List the positive results of prohibition
Samrat Chaudhary stated that the complete prohibition of alcohol implemented in Bihar since 2016 has yielded positive results. According to him, women and families have benefited the most, and the social environment has improved. He added that the state government’s objective is not only economic development, but also to strengthen social reforms to make society safer and healthier.
Along with the law, public awareness is also necessary.
The Chief Minister stated that a drug-free society cannot be achieved simply by enacting laws. The government can enforce laws, but their success depends on public participation and awareness. He appealed to the youth to make this campaign a mass movement and inspire those around them to stay away from drugs. He added that achieving this goal is impossible without social cooperation.
Appreciation of the role of Brahma Kumaris
Praising the role of the Brahma Kumaris in the anti-drug campaign, he said that the Bihar government also wants to expand its coordination with the organization and expand this campaign to villages, cities, schools, and colleges. Those present at the event were administered the oath of de-addiction and were also given “Mai Bharat” caps to connect them with the campaign.
