Dead bodies of two elderly people found in Sahibabad flat, revealed by bad smell
Bodies of two elderly people have been found in a flat located in Shalimar Garden, Sahibabad. Neighbors informed the police after smelling the smell. In the initial investigation, death is suspected to have occurred about four to five days ago.
Sahibabad: There was a sensation in the area after the bodies of two elderly people were found in a flat near DLF Colony of Shalimar Garden police station area. According to the police, the deceased have been identified as 75-year-old Rakesh Sharma and his assistant Nempal Singh. Neighbors informed the police after foul smell started coming from the flat, after which both the bodies were recovered.
The secret of the flat’s smell is revealed
Local people informed the police after a strong smell was coming from a flat located in Shalimar Garden police station area for several days. When the police reached the spot and opened the door of the flat, they found bodies of two elderly people lying inside.
In the initial investigation, the police found the dead bodies to be about four to five days old. Both the bodies have been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.
Identification and preliminary investigation of the dead
According to the police, the deceased have been identified as 75-year-old Rakesh Sharma and 60-year-old Nempal Singh. Rakesh Sharma is said to be originally a resident of Shantinagar area, while Nempal Singh was a resident of New Seemapuri area of Delhi.
According to the information, both of them used to drive autos. Police say that Rakesh was ill for a long time, while Nempal had the habit of drinking alcohol.
Awaiting post mortem report
DCP Trans Hindon reached the spot and inspected the spot. Police did not find any external injury marks on both the bodies. Initially the death is being considered natural, but the final confirmation will be available only after the post mortem report comes.
The police have informed the families of the deceased and investigation into the case is ongoing.
