Patna. A very shocking and big news is coming out from the family of veteran Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi. Pankaj Tripathi’s brother has been fatally attacked with an ax over a land dispute in his native village located in Gopalganj district of Bihar. He has been seriously injured in this attack. A senior police officer gave official information about this incident on Monday.
The incident took place in the native village Belsand.
According to the police administration, this incident took place late Sunday evening in the actor’s native village Belsand under Barauli police station area of the district. Bihar’s Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Sudhanshu Kumar confirmed the incident and said, “The victim was suddenly attacked with an ax during a land dispute in the village.”

Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police has taken prompt action. Additional Director General of Police said that the main accused involved in this violent attack has been arrested by the police. Along with this, the dangerous weapon (axe) used in the crime has also been recovered by the police.
Treatment is going on in Patna hospital
According to information received from officials, Pankaj Tripathi’s injured brother Bijendra Nath Tiwari was immediately admitted to a local hospital in Gopalganj late on Sunday night. However, seeing his condition, after first aid, he was referred to a big hospital in Patna for better treatment, where he is currently being treated. The local police have registered a case under relevant sections regarding this entire incident and have started further investigation into the reasons behind the incident.
