Recently a video of Taniya Chatterjee surfaced, in which she claimed that Yuzvendra Chahal had messaged her on Instagram and called her “cute”. Not only this, he also showed the alleged chats, after which this matter quickly went viral on social media.
PR team contact claim
Now a new twist came in this whole matter when the actress claimed that after the video went viral, Chahal’s PR team contacted her and requested to remove the video.
In an interview, Taniya Chatterjee said that she found this surprising, because according to her there was nothing objectionable in the message. He raised the question that if a person praises someone, then why is it being made such a big issue.

The actress also revealed that this was not the first time that Yuzvendra Chahal messaged her. According to her, he has reacted to her Instagram stories before also.
Old messages increased the stir
Another interesting aspect in this controversy is that the chats that have been shared are said to be from the year 2023. Taniya Chatterjee told that initially she did not know from whom this message was, but later after looking at the profile, she got information about Chahal.
It is worth noting that Yuzvendra Chahal’s name was linked with RJ Mahvash earlier also. He married choreographer Dhanashree Verma in the year 2020, but later their relationship turned sour and they got divorced in 2025.
