Samrat Chaudhary will take oath as the first BJP Chief Minister of Bihar today, new chapter begins in politics.

Tezzbuzz Desk- A historic turn is going to come in the politics of Bihar, where Bharatiya Janata Party is going to take over the post of Chief Minister on its own for the first time. Tarapur MLA Samrat Chaudhary will take oath as the Chief Minister on Wednesday and with this a new chapter will be added to the power of the state.

Samrat Chaudhary becoming the Chief Minister is special in many ways. Till now, BJP has been the partner in power in Bihar under the NDA alliance, and many of its leaders have held important positions like Deputy Chief Minister, but the post of Chief Minister is going to the party’s account for the first time. In this respect, the name of Samrat Chaudhary will be recorded in the political history of the state.

Along with the swearing-in ceremony, two senior Janata Dal United (JDU) leaders—Vijay Chaudhary and Vijendra Yadav—are also likely to take oath as ministers. Both the leaders have been active in Bihar politics for a long time and are considered close to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Vijay Chaudhary has previously held important posts like minister and assembly speaker, while Vijendra Yadav has also been a minister several times and has administrative experience.

An interesting similarity is also seen in the political journey of the three leaders. Samrat Chaudhary started his career with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and later joined BJP through various parties. Similarly, Vijay Chaudhary started his political career from Congress, while Vijendra Yadav entered politics by reaching the Assembly for the first time in 1990 on Janata Dal ticket.

After Nitish Kumar resigned from the post of Chief Minister on Tuesday, NDA chose Samrat Chaudhary as its leader. After this he met Governor Syed Ata Hasnain and staked claim to form the government. Now on Wednesday morning at 11 am, he will be sworn in as the 24th Chief Minister of Bihar.

According to sources, in the initial phase only two ministers will take oath along with Samrat Chaudhary. After this, soon the cabinet will be expanded and various departments will be divided.

With this development, not only the leadership of power will change in the politics of Bihar, but there is also a possibility of change in policies and administrative direction in the coming time.
