The 8th Pay Commission will not only affect the working employees but also the pensioners. There is a possibility of increase in pension of lakhs of pensioners. It is estimated that the pension may increase by about 20% to 30%, and revision in other allowances is also possible.
5. At what stage is the commission’s process at present?
At present the commission is in the initial stage and suggestions are being taken from various departments and organizations. The process of submitting memorandums from employee organizations is underway and meetings are also proposed in different cities.
