China again spews venom on Arunachal Pradesh, India’s strict stance may increase tension on the border
News India Live, Digital Desk: Amidst the ongoing tension on the Line of Actual Control (LAC), China has once again demonstrated its expansionist policy regarding Arunachal Pradesh, an integral part of India. The Chinese Foreign Ministry has issued a controversial statement trying to stake its claim on Arunachal Pradesh. This latest rhetoric from Beijing has once again soured the diplomatic relations between the two countries. Defense experts believe that this statement of China can give a big blow to the efforts to restore peace on the border. China again repeated its old tune. In his recent statement, the spokesperson of the Chinese Defense Ministry has described Arunachal Pradesh as ‘Zangnan’ and termed it a part of Chinese territory. China has also objected to the development work being done there by India and the strengthening of military infrastructure. This is not the first time that China has taken such action, but this time the tone is more aggressive than before. China has been continuously doing dastardly acts like changing the name of the areas of Arunachal and giving ‘Staple Visa’ to its citizens. India’s befitting reply: ‘Arunachal was, is and will remain ours’. The Indian government has given a very strict reaction to this jackal instigation of China. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has clearly stated that Arunachal Pradesh is an unbreakable and integral part of India. India has made it clear that China’s use of fabricated names or baseless claims will not change the ground reality. New Delhi has advised Beijing to refrain from such rhetoric, as it can further increase tension in the border areas. Indian security agencies and army are on full alert on the LAC after this provocative statement by China. Over the past few years, India has laid a network of roads, bridges and tunnels in Arunachal Pradesh, making it easier for the army to reach difficult areas. Experts say that China is frightened by this growing power of India. Even at the international level, America and many other countries have supported India’s stand and criticized China’s expansionist policies.
