Delhi High Court’s strict order banning use of Allu Arjun’s photo, video and voice without permission

Tezzbuzz Desk – South superstar Allu Arjun has won a major legal victory to protect his personality rights. Delhi High Court, while giving an important decision in his favor, has banned the commercial use of his name, photo, voice and video without permission.

Court gave strict order

The Delhi High Court bench, headed by Tushar Rao Gedela, issued the ex-parte interim order. The court clearly said that unauthorized use of the actor’s name, image, voice, dialogue style or gestures in any way is a violation of his personality rights. Along with this, the court has also banned the sale of merchandise related to misuse of AI, deepfake content and copyright infringement.

Why did this step have to be taken?

Allu Arjun moved court after he learned that merchandise was being sold using his name and image without his permission. Additionally, their deepfake videos and objectionable content were also being exposed through AI. In such a situation, he took legal steps to protect his rights.

Talking about the work front, after Pushpa 2: The Rule, fans are now waiting for his next film. These days, Allu Arjun is working with Atlee on a big budget film named ‘Raaka’.

‘Raka’ will become a mega project

‘Raaka’ is said to be a science-fiction action film, in which Deepika Padukone will be seen in the female lead. According to reports, the budget of this film is around Rs 800 crore, making it one of the most expensive films of Indian cinema. Although the release date of the film has not been revealed yet, it is expected that it may hit the theaters in 2027.
