During the hearing of PILs filed in Delhi High Court, senior advocate Gopal Shankaranarayan said that his team has examined about 130 videos related to the incident. Advocate Gopal Shankaranarayan told in the court that many policemen were seen who were using force on the protesters without police uniform and without identity badges.
Citing one of the same videos, senior advocate Gopal Shankaranarayan alleged that ADCP Sandeep Lamba of North East District of Delhi Police is seen slapping a female protestor. Whereas in the video it is clearly visible that she was not doing anything.
At the same time, the division bench of Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyay and Justice Tejas Karia refused to comment on the veracity of the allegations at present. The court issued notice to Delhi Police and the Central Government and directed them to file their reply within four weeks.
